Wall Panels – GatorDeck Pultruded Grating
Pultrusion is a continuous molding process in which glass roving, glass matting, and a synthetic surface veil are literally “pulled” simultaneously through a flame-retardant polyester or vinylester resin bath. Desired geometric shapes are formed and solidified as they are pulled through a heated steel die. Seasafe’s GatorDeck™ pultruded fiberglass grating provides the ultimate combination of strength, corrosion resistance, and structural integrity as a result of the automated pultrusion process. GatorDeck™ Pultruded Grating is also available in vinyl ester resin, which offers higher chemical resistance and is ideal for use in harsh chemical environments.
With a high percentage of glass within its laminates, SeaSafe Fiberglass Grating offers strength, rigidity, and a high loading capacity. GatorDeck pultruded fiberglass grating is lightweight, easy to install, and can be custom-designed to meet specific project requirements. In addition to GatorDeck Pultruded Grating, there is also GatorGrate Molded Grating. This is another type of fiberglass grating that is made using a molding process rather than pultrusion. Like GatorDeck, GatorGrate is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and easy to install. It is often used in similar applications such as walkways, platforms, and stair treads, but is also commonly used in applications such as cooling towers, marine docks, and chemical processing plants.
